Memory Trail

Stylish action with a lonely atmosphere and powers that always come with a price. Hei’s double life and the strange cases make the world feel dangerous and lived-in.

All-time favorite. I love the character development, world, music, Renton/Eureka couple dynamic, and the feeling of a vast, emotional adventure.

I love the dark monster-hunting world, strong female warriors and brutal fights. The struggle to stay human while becoming monstrous gives it real weight.

I love the mix of politics, strategy, rebellion and tragedy. Lelouch makes every victory feel clever, dangerous and emotionally costly.

I love the collision between tenderness and extreme violence. Beneath the horror is loneliness, rejection and the desperate need for connection.

I love the battle of intelligence and moral collapse behind it. Power becomes a test of ego, justice and how easily certainty can become corruption.
